Safe and effective use of 5-MeO-DMT

Joel Brierre

aka: the entheogenic yogi is a pioneer in the modern psychedelic movement, and has years of experience in the realm of 5-MeO-DMT and the Bufo Alvarius toad. His unique approach of applying classical non-dual yogic philosophy for both the preparation and integration from the entheogenic experience gained attention from around the world at the first World Bufo Alvarius Congress (WBAC) in 2018 and continues to shift the landscape of psychedelic use.

Joel works specifically in the retreat setting and with nearly a decade and a half of experience, has curated a container that is meant to facilitate lasting change. Drawing from a combination of eastern, and contemporary western integrative practices such as neurofeedback, allows these retreats to give participants a space to safely unfold, address trauma, undergo cathartic release, and have the support system to to hold them through the whole process. With a heavy focus on integration and aftercare, participants are able to create lasting change and find deeper states of peace than they thought conceivable.

In 2020 Joel founded Kaivalya Kollectiv, a psychedelic wellness company focused on the safe and effective use of 5-MeO-DMT. Under the umbrella of Kaivalya Kollectiv, Joel formed multiple subsidiaries such as their retreat arm known as Tandava Retreats, a consulting and advising firm called Kaivalya Integral, as well as the education and resource platform F.I.V.E. (Five-MeO-DMT Information and Vital Education) with his partner Victoria Wueschner at the helm.

Joel and his team at Tandava are raising the bar for psychedelic and wellness retreats, with a flagship center in Tepoztlan, Mexico, a larger center opening Q1 of 2023 in Costa Rica, and group retreats in Jamaica. Retreats are led by top notch teachers and facilitators with extensive experience. Safety is the number one priority, followed closely by a warm and welcoming container that is both nurturing and expansive.
